Tungsten Copper Alloy Resistance Welding Electrodes
Product Overview:
Kefeng's Copper Tungsten alloys are used as electrode materials for resistance welding and and the heavy duty contact, relays, switches, which the materials will withstand the effects of the arcing to the interruption of large currents. These alloy metals composite dense hard metals with the outstanding features as: low thermal expansion, good thermal and electrical conductivity, excellent arc resistance, superior wear resistance and strength at a rising higher temperature.
Tungsten Copper Alloy Resistance Welding Electrodes Details
Product Description
Tungsten Copper Alloy Resistance Welding Electrodes are produced by refractory copper and tungsten metals, which the compositions were processed by a severe quality controlled techniques of pressing and sintering tungsten powder, infiltrating the sintered material with copper, by which the tungsten alloy provides the structural strength and heat resistance while the copper is the electrical and heat conductor. This combination manufacture dense, hard metals, superior wear resistance and strength at rising temperatures. They possess good thermal and electrical conductivity on the unique features.
- Material: 65%W35%Cu, 70%W30%Cu, 75%W25%Cu , 80%W20%Cu copper tungsten
- Specification: standard or custom sizes according to customer's drawing
- Kefeng Tungsten Copper Alloy Resistance Welding Electrodes are of the superior quality
- The physical properties are specified under RWMA standards
Technical parameters
Characteristics and features
Tungsten Copper Alloy Resistance Welding Electrodes products are resistant to heat, electric arc, wear and deformation at high temperature welding, flash butt and spot welding. They also have excellent electrical and thermal conductivity. These metal composite materials produce dense hard metals with low thermal expansion, good thermal and electrical conductivity, excellent arc resistance, superior wear resistance and strength at rising temperatures.
Application
For Tungsten Copper Alloy Resistance Welding Electrodes with the composition 75%W-25%Cu, these parts can be applied in projection welding electrodes, flash and butt welding electrodes, light upsetting and seam welding bushings. Harder than Class 10 and used where moderate pressure is required, these resistance welding electrodes parts can also be used for spot welding low conductivity steels like stainless in available shapes as rods, bars and inserts.
For Tungsten Copper Alloy of composition of 80%W20%Cu, they can be used in Heavy duty projection welding electrodes, electro-forming and electroforging electrode facings for upsetting of studs and rivets, cross wire welding of large diameter wire and rod. Kefeng's Copper Tungsten alloys are used as electrode materials for resistance welding and similar related applications and the heavy duty contact, relays, switches, which the materials will withstand the effects of the arcing to the interruption of large currents.
